Molly Rae is a New York-based, slow fashion clothing brand that combines soft silhouettes and unique fabrics to create fun and comfortable one-of-a-kind pieces. The fabrics used to create these pieces are imported from all across India. Each garment is designed and handmade by Molly in Brooklyn, NY.
Molly Greenberg is an artist and seamstress from New Orleans, LA. She began sewing when she was very young and has her mom and grandmother, Oma, to thank for that. Upon many years of altering her clothing Molly decided to study fashion in college. She got a BA in Apparel Design in 2018 and has found happiness in designing and sewing one-of-a-kind pieces to share with the world ever since.

Over 90 million tons of textile waste ends up in landfills each year; 11.3 million of that coming just from the United States alone. In an attempt to lessen that number, I keep all scrap fabrics in a constant growing pile in my studio. The Remnants Collection is comprised of garments made from these scrap pieces. While keeping these scraps out of the landfill, I am also able to create very special, truly one-of-a-kind garments. Although I am one person and that doesn't seem like much, even a small impact is an impact.
