Over 90 million tons of textile waste ends up in landfills each year; 11.3 million of that coming just from the United States alone. In an attempt to lessen that number, I keep all scrap fabrics in a constant growing pile in my studio. The Remnants Collection is comprised of garments made from these scrap pieces. While keeping these scraps out of the landfill, I am also able to create very special, truly one-of-a-kind garments. Although I am one person and that doesn't seem like much, even a small impact is an impact.​
